PROMENADE 2012 RECAP

The Pleasant Grove Promenade ran for 13 weeks during the months of July, August, & September.  An average of 58 vendors were present over that time, with 196 different vendors registering at some point during the event.

SPECIAL EVENTS - 2012 was the first year that multiple Special Events were held in concert with the Promenade: Police Department Sponsored Public Safety Night, UVU Night, the Promenade Car Show, & Fire Department Fun.  We anticipate continuing with these special events and look forward to including many others.

ENTERTAINMENT - Promenade 2012 saw various local artists perform, including solo artists, bands, PALS, tap dancers, & a steel drum band.  Thank you to all those who performed!  We look forward to your future performances.

FACEBOOK & TWITTER - 2012 also marked the Promenade's extended use of Facebook & Twitter.  You can find us at Facebook.com/PGPromenade and Twitter.com/PGPromenade.  Visit our facebook page for pictures, announcements, & to stay connected to the Promenade all year long.

HISTORY

The Promenade is 5 years old, beginning in 2008. The Promenade has grown every year — peak number of vendor booths:

  • 2008 — 22
  • 2009 — 43
  • 2010 — 77
  • 2011 — 104

PARKING

Parking surrounds the park.

Vendors: ample vendor parking — much of it in shady locations — is available behind surrounding buildings. Vendors should move their vehicles after setting up their booth, thereby reserving parking spaces adjacent to the park for customers.
